Going down on my first mule deer hunt in wmu 104 later this week and was wondering what size of bucks I can look forward to down there.

It really depends on how much permission you've got, where you plan on hunting, how long you have to hunt, and what kind of scouting you've done.

104 can produce great results on big bucks, but there is a lot of little land chunks that usually require some homework to get all the permission lined up.

What Rack said.

Lots of small properties, permission on the really good properties is very hard to get... But you can get lucky where ever you are.

That zone is all about who you know. Big deer tough hunting because it's all walk in. Police coulée will let you on if you go talk to them.

Thanks guys. I have a fair amount of permission (know some people down there and they put me on to a number of landowners) just never been down for much scouting.
