Default Bamboo / Ipe Homemade Bow

For my daughter. 30lbs @ 28" and less than an inch wide. The riser and tips are walnut. No fiberglass, just wood & glue. Quick, easy & fun to make.

That's a pretty cool looking bow- she looks happy about it as well!

Very cool, where did you source the bamboo?

Thanks guys. I purchased the Bamboo at Black Forest wood supply in Calgary. It is not raw bamboo instead I cut it from a pressed bamboo strip board but I have seen the raw stuff for sale at the Calgary archery center. The Ipe and walnut also came from Black Forest. I am now trying the same method for a couple hunting weight bows.
