Default Moonlighting for Browns

Just read the following article about fishing at night for Browns, this is the second article I've read on this and it seems like fun. Anybody have any experiences/pictures to share in regards to this?:

I fish at night a lot for bruins and tend to do pretty well, it's great but you better have your casting in check, everything is remarkably more difficult in the darkness

Use the moon to your advantage for night fishing.

Also, be kind to the bats you might catch with your fly.

They can get a bit ornery with a hook stuck in their wing.

I fish late for browns during the summer. The best advice I can give is really know the area you are fishing. Plan ahead what your are going to do. You don't want to go wading in a new area and get into trouble, perhaps working your way into a run where you cant get out of without a dip. Easy to do at night. Also wear a life jacket and be safe.

Oh and make sure to leave your fishing stuff out of the house when you get home. Lest your wife wake you up with shrills of "we have cockroaches" as the golden stones make there way out of you fishing attire.

LMAO!!

Reminds me of last summer,I bought some very realistic stonefly nymphs at Westwinds(Montana Fly Co maybe?)....anyway,I thought it would be fun to decorate some apples in the fruit bowl with them....and it was....for me!!
The missus.....ummmmm,not so much.

In regards to the use of a head lamp, obviously keep it turned off while fishing and turn it on once you're hooked up?

Not mine. Just a real cool looking cheese eater I found while looking around and thought it fit right in with the thread. It came for here.

Here's a link to a recipe that's very close. I like them a little darker myself. Nice profile on this critter though.

I love to fish for browns at night, that is when the big boys come out to play.

I've yet to catch a brown on the mouse, perhaps tomorrow if I'm fortunate. I have had tigers eat mice though so it's only a matter of time.
