Default What's your favorite thread and why?

Standard ties I like Uni-thread in 6/0, strong like bull and fairly thin.
For smaller ties I switch to Danville's 6/0, thinner and lays flatter.

Rarely if ever do i use 6/0. But thats mostly because i tied stillwater stuff. 8/0 uni thread is what i usually use.

When im tying big streamers, sometimes i'll use 6/0, but this year im going to try the monocord thread, and perhaps some 3/0.

6/0 Dannvile is the same thickness as 8/0 uni-thread. Haven't had the chance to try 8/0 uni yet.

Never tried UTC, I like the UNI, why do you think it's junk?

Dannvile waxed and/or uni 6/0 for general flies. Uni 8/0 for nymphs. Uni big fly or Uni A+ for BIG FLIES. And Uni Mono for most flies with an epoxy head.
