Had a T3 Lite Stainless in .30-06 years back. I liked it very much. Metalwork was very nice, smooth action, great trigger, accurate. All synthetic stock rifles suffer from higher felt recoil, you can change that if you want. You’re okay with a plastic detachable mag or you’re not. If you just want the most function and hunting-usable accuracy for your dollar you can probably find better value elsewhere in the plethora of plastic stock bolt guns with knockoff accu-triggers (I bought a Marlin .270 for $200 that is a fantastic hunting tool!) but the Tikka won’t disappoint either.

Same but different order.
1) stocks could be better. For sure
2) action length....all are long actions but in 7mag or 30-06 not a big deal
3) single stack 3 round magazine that protrudes below the action not bad but not desirable

Was stolen
Figure I’d replace it with a 270 wsm tikka
I sold it as fast as I could
My 338 rum was a far more pleasant rifle to shoot then that tikka

not sure why everyone is hating on the mag protruding.

it barely sticks out and nothing ever catches on it.

I wouldn't say that I'm "hating on" in. But...

- It's' only 3 rounds, while many competitors have 4 or 5 capacity.
- it does protrude, and right at the carrying point of the rifle, so is a bit uncomfortable. Many competitors have completely flush fitting magazines, which is preferable if one is choosing.
- it's cheap moulded plastic.

And it does not handle handloads with a long COAL on a top of what you've mentioned, turning this rifle in a single shot in that particular case.

my Vangaurd shoots sub MOA out of the box but carries like a club. Just purchased a CZ 550 and although its a little heavier than the Vangaurd it caries and handles much better for me . I ruled out the Tikkas as they did not fit me at all and not that it matters much but I think they are homely and this is from a guy who shoots a Vinci.
