Just heard that the turtle is out for 7-10 days, took a pretty good hit, and cracked his shell.

Took a dirty pitchfork right in the nuts from Benn is more like it. But it probably did crack a shell.

I'm pretty sure he has dished out as many, if not more of those dirty pitchforks than he has received......

Maybe? Probably? Still doesn't negate the fact that it was a dirty pitchfork from Benn.

I'm not aware of any clean pitchfork to the nuts in professional or amateur sports. Regardless of who delivers it, or receives it.

It really was just an observation. Not a huge moral judgement call. Not sure why you are still on about it.

C'mon man. Everyone knows a turtles shell is impervious to a stick jab.

Game time decision is what they are saying, I don't expect home to play but will see. If he is out, interested in who they put in. Buddy? Reinaldo? Have to say surprised people are enjoying his injury, I get he may not be a favourite, but letting a clear spear to injury slide just because it's him is pretty sad. Let alone happy to see it, crazy. Personally I don't wish injury to any player even if I don't like them, but guess that's just me. Enjoy it folks, and I hope when he comes back, he is even more of a pest, to build the hate.
Go Flames, should be a good game. We just need to show up on time tonight, can't wait till the third.

Hockey and the AO forum.....you give it, and you take it....it's all good.

I really wasn't put out about Benn doing that anyway, I've always liked his skill and grit. Not like Chucky wasn't asking for a little special attention. Too bad Tkachuk is out for a bit, but that's hockey too. I don't believe Benn meant to injure him anymore than Tkachuk meant to hurt Scheifele. They are all playing hard, and not holding back.

Right. Like I said in the post just above yours....it's hockey, not a lawn party. It's weird, everyone trying to convince me that Tkachuk just got some of his own medicine back, when I don't need any convincing.

Just like Kassian was getting some of his own back when Tkachuk about took his head off twice coming behind the net. But oh, the way Kassian and all the Oilers fans whined. Weird, isn't it? I don't see anyone whining about the stick on Tkachuk, just made an observation that is what happened. I expect he will get lots of that in his career, because he plays that game, and he asks for it back.

It's hockey.

Vancouver is doing well, and Markstrom is again standing on his head. Out shot but looking at a W here. Gaoltending is so crucial in the playoffs, man all I can think of is Wolf being our future. Ha

It's hockey.
The whining was short lived for oil fans. As they took retribution shortly after.
Hopefully flames fans can enjoy it also shortly.

C'mon Rat, I'm a fan and I've seen him do it. I think he even did it from the bench once.....

He's no angel.

Oh heck! Blues tie it with 6 seconds left.....nope, called back on high stick.

Why so serious about hockey, it's not like we get paid to be fans of these guys?

Blues challenge, and it is a good goal. Wow.

Actually yeah when he was young he did push it , forgot about that one. Not saying he is an angel, don't get me wrong.

Ok Flames, hope they seen how Nucks stars were doing their job.

Wonder how messed up the ice will be, from a game right before that went into OT. Not that it was a long OT

Flames going with Cam Talbot in net again for game three. He leads them out for warmup.

Dallas goes back to Anton Khudobin for game three.

Sounds Like Tkachuck is Out

I don’t mind Talbot in, bur it sure sucks losing chucky.
I sure hope they don’t mess with the third line to make up for it.
