Default tanning martin

Curious as to if any one gets there martins tanned and if so where and cost.
Thinking of getting some done just to hang on the wall, with feet on.
Thanks for your time.

I’m not sure if my pricelist is up to date but I have $50 at the ATA in Westlock.

A smaller critter like a marten is worth doing yourself IMO, particularly if you only want a wall hanger. It’s not a garment quality tan but it’s cheap and relatively easy to do.

Ya I have tanned a few before that I mounted, but was looking for garment quality as you mention had a guy years ago that did coyotes etc for me but he is no longer around.

Default Marten tanning

Western Fur Tanners in Edmonton , I believe they charge $38.00. I had some work done there and they do a good job.

$36 on my last price list and 8% discount for Trappers.

In the notes it says add another $15 for case skinned fur but I don't know what that's all about.
