Default Blaser F-3 Review

I shot a Blaser F-3 Vantage at skeet for the first time yesterday. I was very impressed with how quickly the gun swings with 32" barrels. The triggers are amazing, and felt recoil was very mild for a 12 gauge. Excellent fit and finish as well, and the action opens and closes very smoothly, for so few rounds fired. I had never seen a Blaser shotgun until a year or so ago, but they seem to be getting more and more popular with the sporting clays shooters. If you are looking for a higher end clays gun the F-3 is certainly worth considering.

You can set balance of the gun to your personal liking. There's a adjustable weight in the stock and barrel weights can be bolted on so that you get the swing you want.

There are two weights that can be installed in the stock, and four weights that can be bolted onto the barrels. I started with all weights removed, and I like the handling with no weights.

Working on the assumption of neutral gravitational vortex on the left moving target, assuming you are torquing your hips, I would suggest one weight in the stock.
