Default Good for the trappers!!!

Since you guys are busy right now and probably not watching any TV I wanted to share this story with you. There is a young lady in Manitoba chasing her Olympic dream, Megan Imrie. She grew up in a outdoors environment and includes things such as checking traps with her dad as one of her favorite things. She also boldly brags about being a 6 year old and being able to go into a beaver den.

We all know this dream comes at a great cost. To help her fulfill her dream the Manitoba Trappers Association got together and donated a bunch of the years fur to her to sell and get the proceeds.

I post this here, an Albertan forum because I have had the pleasure of meeting trappers from across this great nation. The one thing I have found is there is a strong character and a strong sense of family and community.

So I tip my hat to the works of ya!!!
