In the comment section on that Canadian firearms poll going around, I suggest the RCMP/government focus on gang activity in nearly every comment.

So that chart puts restricted firearms owners using restricted firearms pretty low. What about licensed firearms owners with their non-registered but legally-owned firearms?
I like statistics, but I also like ones that tell the whole story honestly. Put the whole truth out rather than a cherry-picked bit of it (misinformation is the domain of lefties, lets keep it that way).

It says registered, not restricted.

Being that we have no long gun registry, if its registered it is by default a restricted firearm.
The chart says "licensed Firearms owner with their registered firearm". The only time I ever register a firearm is when it is a restricted one. You could try calling in to register a non-restricted to the CFC and see how that goes.

When I took a statistics course in college the instructor made the comment "there are lies, damn lies, and statistics". Statistics can me made to say anything the author of a report / document wants them to say. Kinda sounds like our current government.

I could be wrong but when you purchase a gun you must show your PAL, then the store or person that sold you the gun, writes down your info and serial number. Making it a legal sale of a gun. Making you a legal gun owner. I don’t know, but don’t think Canada has over 2 million restricted firearm owners, seems kind of high.

Justin is contemplating banning handguns and assault type rifles which are restricted. He's not going after non-restricted firearms. Addressing the specific types of firearms that Justin has targeted is not skewing the data in the least and it is as it should be. Including all types of firearms definitely would though.
Is there an article that goes along with that graph?

Yep, you're wrong.
They are not required to write anything down and the ones that do keep ledgers are not required to report it into any system.
Why does less that 7% of Canadians having a restricted license seem high? Everyone i know with a PAL has a restricted. Not everyone I know owns one.
It's not an unreasonable thing to look at all of the televised or reported firearms murders in Canada and see how many are.....

I did a google search and the graph is using all guns. I just typed in RESTRICTED GUNS IN CANADA and all the numbers that came up matched the graph numbers. Legal restricted firearms in Canada is only a million. And by all guns, I mean legal, registered guns.
