Default Sako Ammunition

I purchased a Tikka T3 Lite SS 30-06 last fall for hunting.
I have been reading through Sako Ammunition information.
It seems their brass is superior to other ammo.
Their claim is that it can be reloaded up to ten times.
I have speced out the pricing for this ammunition and it seems readily available and a reasonable price.
Has anyone else tried this ammunition in the field?
Thanks for any input.

Ten times does not make it superior to other manufacturers. I usually load my Lapua cases more than ten times.

Regular winchester brass is fine. You don't need any fancy brass
Unless you're handloading for matches... Maybe get nosler and other expensive brand casings

I've got Winchester and Remington brass for numerous cartridges, which I've reloaded over 10 times, I think I've got some .308 Win Winchester brass that might be over 15 loadings.

It's more a function of how you reload and treat your brass, neck sizing, annealing, and not roof daddying the powder charge will wring far more outta your brass than any specific brand of brass.

X2
I have Nosler cases with 12 firings on them.
Premium ammo is still not taylored for each individual rifle like a handload. If you want the best ammo make your own

Doesn’t sound like you reload so the quality of the brass would be a non-issue. Pick loaded ammunition that has a quality bullet, that your gun shoots well, in the weight range you are looking at using for whatever game you hunt.

Brass is the last thing I care about, bullet construction is #1 and being sure it will handle the task it’s used for.

Unless I'm mistaken, Sako uses Norma brass. I bought some 180g hammerhead .308win from Canadian tire last year. It shot well. Just outside an inch in my Ruger gunsite. Federal premium with 165g game kings shoot about the same and hand loaded sgk's are usually 3/4 inch to an inch. Most other factory ammo from that rifle is closer to 2 inches.

Unless one is hand loading, brass is a non issue the ammunition that shoots best in the rifle in question is the big thing to look at .
This includes terminal performance as well as group size .
Ammunition that groups under one inch with varmint bullets is not going to work on a deer or moose for example, as ammunition that groups three bullets into 1 1/2" at 100 yards with properly constructed big game bullets.
