Default 7 mm ammo brand

I need to know what is a good brand and bullet weight for Elk and moose hunting.

According to ballistic 150 grain has the most energy at 200 yards.

What would you guys recommend .

Thanks

I would recommend that you start by specifying an actual cartridge, since 7mm could mean any one of a dozen or so cartridges. As for a suitable bullet, the bullet construction, is far more important than the bullet weight, but in general, most suitable bullets will be in the 140 to 175gr range.

For the 7mm rem mag Barnes vortex ammo is what my dad finds very accurate in his gun in 160 grains.

Agreed. Pretty much tack drivers out of my 7mm accumark. deadly bullet large game too! win-Win, if they shoot well out of your rig!
Pricey though!
