good day,
I spoke with the folks at P&d Enterprises in Edmonton about the sr 22 and was told they were replacing the pinned ones with a working collapsible stock. They would be a good place to start. I am pretty sure that a lot of ar 15 style stocks will fit the sr22.
On a side note, how do you like your sr22? I have been waiting for one for a month now, and I sure hope they show up soon!
Good luck with your new toy.
Ken

I havent handled one yet, but I heard you can remove the rivet/pin, and it becomes adjustable. Not sure if its true or not.

Hey guys be careful, they had to pin the stocks in order to bring them into canada. With an adjustable stock, the firearms total length becomes shorter and then becomes a "restricted weapon". Check the laws before any mods. I HATE HATE HATE canada's dumb gun laws!!

Overall length needs to be over 26" with the stock fully colapsed (which it easily is) No classification change. The pin was Ruger/USA's rule not Canada's.
At least thats what I was told.

Does it make a difference if it's a folding vs. a collapsable / adjustable?

Folding would not hold the length but adjustable would... no?

Yeah the states says no adjustable stocks. As for folding you have to measure one on a gun to see. I hope the pin is removable as this would be great for me and then the young ones can shoot it also. I hope they make lots and quick.
