Post Brining A Spare Gun To Cfb Suffield?

Wondering if it is possible or if you can only have one rifle with you.

Yes no problem, just add it to the list of firearms that you have to fill out.

I've heard of brining pickles but never a gun.

Could you post the part of the e-mail that states that?

Here is the e-mail that I was sent.

Dear Hunter,

Congratulations on being drawn for either an Antlered Elk Special Licence for CFB Suffield (Draw Code 18 and Draw Choices 602, 604, 787, 788, 789, 790, and 791) or Antlerless Elk Special Licence for CFB Suffield (Draw Code 19 and Draw Choices 602, 604, 787, 788, 789, 790, and 791).

Hunting on an active military training facility requires that additional procedures are in place to enhance the hunting experience. Specific information regarding participation in this hunting opportunity can be found on the My Wild Alberta website at www.MyWildAlberta.ca under Hunting>Hunting Draws>Hunting Draws Reports>Drawn Applicants. Click here for a direct link to this information.

Have a safe and successful hunting season!

There is only room for one firearm on the form , but when an inquiry was made as to whether a spare firearm could be taken onto the base, the reply was that it was allowed, as long as it was recorded on the form.

I brought two with me. Far from home and only three days to hunt, better safe than sorry if something were to go wrong with your rifle. I filled the form out with info for both rifles. No questions asked.
