whats the answer?
Build more jails.
Get more aggressive Judges.
Fill the jails.

repeat. repeat. repeat.

Every time there is a murder, a theft, any serious crime it costs money, the victims suffer, the victims families suffer, insurance companies take it out on us.

Back to the topic on hand, penal institutions could put in very inexpensive marine radar that would catch the drones day or night, then use hi-tech means of incapacitating them. Or a slingshot, bolas, etc.

Which company to have the next million dollar scandal over building and maintaining said radar?

SNC-Lavalin has looked after jail services and Bombardier is the world leading manufacturer in aerospace (according to their website)
I’d just assume that could make a dam good scandal.
Both working the same government contract.

Sure, but these things always have cost overruns.

Suddenly $2500 becomes 25 million.

And in the meantime, drugs are still getting in.

Never hear about a jail that had to close for lack occupants.

And thank you for the compliment.
Unless things have changed, I don't believe the military jail in Edmonton has ever been full. Perhaps corrections could learn from those guys.

Honestly . I could care less that incarcerated are getting high, with any luck theyll take something laced and problem solved.

Hmm. Anyone have a drone? (I'm joking)

I'd much prefer LEO's focusing their time on other things.

We were driving by one afternoon a couple of years back, following a car down the highway. It goes to the north end of the prison, and a chick jumps out and pulls on baggy sweats. We knew she was up to something right away, next week she's in the papers busted for attempting to smuggle in drugs. Stupid twit thinking she was out of sight of the security.
That much goods doesn't come in over that dang fence without someone turning a blind eye. Having known many people who have been guests there, I know there have been slimy guards making side money in the past. Would be no surprise that the same group is still working the system, big money always corrupts.
