Anyone been out to Lower K?

Curious as to how much open water is by the plant and if the ice is thick enough to walk to within 50 yards or so....

was out there this morning at daylight. Wind was so brutal, had to leave by noon. Fishing was slowww anyway. Plenty of ice. No open water at the plant, can walk very close to it if not right up to it, worst i saw really close to it is 7 or so inches. All the rest of the lake has at least a foot. Managed 2 bulls 6-8 lb, very slow. cheers!
