Agree, that was Looch's best shift in a while....since he scored last...but Flames getting out hustled and out shot pretty good at this point. They need to turn it up, or they won't get it done. Shots 17-6 not even halfway in. It won't end well if they don't start coming at them, and crashing net more.

And giving up 3 chances on the power play, and a short hand goal, isn't really what I was thinking of as 'doing something'....this one is a complete hash.

My bleeding eyes....johnny gets a penalty shot, and we ALL knew he was gonna go five hole, and we all knew the goalie knew, and was gonna stop it. And guess what? We were all correct.

HaHa I have it on my phone, said Oh Johnny gets a penalty shot. My co-worker say oh I like them, (he watches very little hockey). So I said $50 he goes 5-hole and screws it up. Sure enough he did. He laughed that I knew that.

I've seriously thought about buying a billboard, something along the lines of:
-"Time for a new move Johnny";
-"Anyone wanna bet he goes 5-hole, anyone, anyone at all" ;
-"Lulls them into complacency with 25 straight 5-hole attemps, game on the line, goes...... 5-hole".
-"Calgary penalty shot to 13". Ward, "We decline, 5-hole didn't work the last four times on this goalie, doubt it will work on the 5th attempt ".

I just don’t see a playoff team, sorry.
Too easy to score on, Riddick let’s more in between his chest and arms lately than any corners.
They will fall out of the wildcard within a week then it’s done.

I’m an oil fan. I don’t consider Calgary or Edmonton a playoff team. I believe both can get there.
But neither would make a deep run. Too inconsistent.
(I know technically if they make the playoffs they are a playoff team but to me a playoff team has the ability to make a deep run. Which I don’t see from either)

I have playoff teams and contenders. Given the division, I think the Flames and Oilers are playoff teams, unfortunately I consider neither contenders. That would be St. Louis, Tampa, Boston, Colorado, etc.

Totally agree....I am a Flames fan but cannot see them going far in the playoffs....They have 11 home games and 4 road games left...Not sure if that is a curse based on there home record. 
However, I seem to have more confidence in Talbot going on a run and possibly in the playoffs.

Another good shut out for Talbot. You know Ward has to go back to Rittich next game then....ah well. Good two points, and leapfrog Canucks for 3rd in Pacific. Guess I need to cheer for Columbus later....

I agree....but looking at history, Ward let's his hot goalie watch from the bench. It's as maddening as 5 Hole Johnny. And that is very, very maddening already.

I will loose it if he goes back to Rittich, next game after another Talbot shutout. Wrong time of year to worry about a guys feelings. We need wins and lots of them. I didn't see much of the game, but Johnny goal I was wondering why he was over the top in the cely for such a regular goal, then I seen why so good for him. Looch AttA boy!!
Blue Jackets still able to help us out here.
Currently in third and 1 point behind the Oilers. (yes I know games at hand) but we are still in there.
