Default nickel plating

I'm thinking about doing this to a Model 700 action. Has anyone done this, and does anyone in Canada specialize in this type of work? Specifically with firearms. Thanks.

Hi Chuck,
i was chatting with these guys, although they dont specialize in firearms, they said they were only limited by the object fitting in the dip tank.
They indicated that did not want handguns left in there possesion, but they were fine with restricted parts.
It was real reasonable, if i did the buffing and minor prep work like taping, cleaning, per there recommendations, it would have been well under a $100 to plate a 10/22 stainless steel receiver in gold...but, that was 5 years ago. the operator said the carbon steel lended itself to gold plating better than stainless, but it could still be done.. so i backed away from the project
they had some other wild exotic finish metals as well. They did heirlooms, door knobs, door hinges, gold medals as trophies, and smaller oilfeild tools.
Im sure if they cant do it, they probably have a network that can help out
