Sorry, can't help with an opinion ... no 'hands-on' Burris experience. I'm a Leupold man myself.

I had one in 4x16x50 but I traded it I thought it was kind of Bulky and bought 3 zeiss conquests thats just my opinion though.

I have some friends who use the black Diamond signature on big booming rifles and simply love them.
One guy I load for has two, one on his 338 Lapua and one on his 7mag.

they are built to run with the higher end european scopes at a lower price.
but for a lower price, i havent seen prices vary so much. ive seen the same scope at different stores and sites vary from 1200.00 american to 650.00 american. if you look at leupold or zeiss seem to have a standard , where burris seems to jump all over the board.

EBAY you can pick up a Nikon Monarch 6x24x50 with the BDC for $600.00. Nice and clear perfect at dusk.
