Lightweight / Strong Tripod

Hey Everyone : Looking for suggestions on a good Strong / lightweight packable tripod for mountain hunting with a good scope.
Should have a center hook for hanging a weight to steady it , right ?
Would you suggest a ball head or pan head ?
Weight is an absolute priority....I have to carry the damn thing every foot of the way.....
