Default About Amelia Earhart...

I wonder if the mystery will finally be solved.
I was always fascinated by it because it seemed kinda weird considering world events at the time; but it sure drove me nuts over the years when all the conspiracy mongers came out of the woodwork. Some of them actually thought it was supernatural, or the Martians or something.
Uh........no.

It would make sense given she was flying with 1930’s navigation technology her target was Howland island. so much speculation over the years captured and executed by the Japanese, lost in the jungle, living a secret life in South America even a rumour her plane was brought down by sabotage because she was a woman.
A recovery of the Electra would end all this

Like the Titanic and Franklin Expedition, I agree, one of the last long standing mysteries/wreckages to be found/solved so to speak.

Peace River had a similar Lockheed plane to hers (if I recall correctly) mounted in the playground for many years right near the former outdoor pool by the Heart River bridge. I still remember the stale urine smell but we had a lot of fun climbing around on that old girl.

James Cameron at least monetized the Titanic.

Default Another mystery - but just 10 year old

Flight MH370, which disappeared on March 8, 2014, after it took off with 239 passengers and crew on board.

I imagine more speculation on the 10th anniversary.

Can't escape that we have a fascination with unsolved mysteries, they keep the conspiracy theorists in business.

I thought at some point in the past 2-3 years they thought they found pieces from her plane or 2 bodies,(skeletons) a female taller than normal and a male?
I could be a bit fuzzy on the deets but it was something to that affect.

Then there's always the DB cooper mystery. Where's all the money, who was he, where did he go?

And the best one: Hitler made it out and lived out the rest of his life in Argentina/South Americas.

On stardate 48975.1, the Voyager crew found her on the Briori slave planet in the Delta Quadrant. She was abducted from earth in 1937.

Default Plane may have been found

Looks like the plane may have been found. 4800 meters down.
Time will tell.
