Default Direct Energy Billing

Anybody get their bill from Direct Energy yet, they sent me a notification on Dec 22 that they were switching over to a new system and the bill would be delayed, got another one the first week of Jan 5 with a link to set up a new account but it is still not working and I haven't seen a bill yet ?? I can log in and see all my account details but there is nothing in the current bill section

I get a paper bill. Got it in the mail a few days early the middle of January, then 4 days later got another one in the mail the exact same. Not sure why.

Saskpower had a similar scam email about 6 months ago I received it and I don't have a Saskpower account although it's not about the rebate program the warning says At no time will a customer receive an email, text message, or phone call from the Alberta government or Direct Energy asking for personal information they would send paper mail. I would phone Direct Energy and check it out.

We pay our Direct Energy bill via direct account withdraw, but in Nov. I noticed nothing had been withdrawn and I didn't receive my monthly e-bill. I logged into our account and it showed I had a balance overdue. When I called customer service they told me they recently switched over to a new billing system and a number people's direct withdraw info. didn't port over, so I reset everything on the phone with the rep.

My feedback was that if 'a number' of people's banking info didn't transfer over to their new system, they may want to do a better job of alerting their customers to this fact. And to simply move a customer to 'balance overdue' when they haven't missed a payment ever in 15 years, and risking credit score consequences, is unethical and demonstrates very poor organization on their part.

I'm currently looking for other providers...

Seems Direct energy finally got their new billing system up and running, got my bill today $1334 considering the last time I got a bill was Oct 6 it's not bad all things considered

My bill was normal, and as usual, the carbon tax was more than the cost of the gas.
