Traditional bow warranty?
What is everyones take on bow warranty?
I have seen everything from nothing, to 6 months, a year, 3 years, 5 years, to 30 year transferable , to lifetime undefined, and lifetime of the Bowyer.
Then we see some that are pro rated over several years, resulting in virtualy nothing after a couple years. Some even void the warranty if you use a limb mounted strap on quiver.
Don't forget the clauses to void the warranty.
I have just finished reviewing 6 Bearpaw bows from Germany that have an awesome warranty. 30 years, and transferable to subsequent owners at no cost.No restrictions on string types, no restrictions on arrow weight. And it is a full warranty every year for 30 years, not pro rated. Impressive.
