Default Wow that hurts

Can't figure out what is going on but after a couple of months of practice I have suddenly started hitting my forearm with the bow string. In trying to correct this I am finding I am now bending the elbow too much which feels uncomfortable and is impacting accuracy. Any suggestions?

Go into a shop and have them recheck your draw length.

Make sure the shoulder of your bow arm is dropped and not locked up. You should be shooting with a slight bend in your elbow. A straight locked arm is not a good thing

Other than that I can't really help you without watching you shoot.

Make sure your hand is at a 45 degree angle... It's happened to me a bunch of times!

The easiest way to figure out what your arm should look like when you pull the bow is to hold it down at your side when you are at right angles to a mirror.
Close your eyes and relax, then open them and look at your arm - it's not straight, but slightly bent.
This is the way it is strongest, and when it is in this position, your shoulder will naturally drop down for you, and everything will be good!

338 is right on this one IMO. I'd say you are tense and have your shoulder hunched up to your neck. Don't bend your elbow much at all, drop your shoulder down and you should have it fixed.

after you draw just touch your finger tips on the front of the riser of the bow.. that will get your hand to settle perfectly!!
