Apple iPhone screen repair

has anyone had any luck finding a place that repairs iphone 14 and newer screens for a decent price.... cheapest I have found so far is Apple which is $429... and some cell phone repair places have quoted me up to $600.... thnx

Order the screen from Amazon and do it yourself. Did this on an older iPhone 6 years ago that the wife continued to drop on the cement until the screen was basically pooched.

I can't recall the price on the screen from Amazon, but easily less than $100. Took my time with the tiny little screws and even swapped over the home button (physical button) from old screen to the new screen.

Worked like a charm and saved huge $.

Yup! DIY. Many of the screen kits come with the necessary screwdrivers and spudgers to complete the work.

Had nothing but grief with two phones that needed screens replacing. They honored the warranty, but both failed in short order of being repaired. I’ll never hire someone again after reading that its a DIY thing if you take your time.

Order off Amazon and replace yourself, the kits come with all the tools needed and if you have any patience it's not all that tough. I have done a few and no issue's

One more vote for do it yourself. I repair all our phones and tablets myself. I started doing it becuase I figured worst that would happen, I would have to buy a new one, which wasn't a lot more than outsourcing the repair. Turned out it was pretty damn easy to do. In retrospect kind of makes sense when you figure out most of the people assembling or repairing these things never got past grade 6, if they went to school at all. Lots of light, a magnifying glass and a bit of patience is all that is really required. Once you do one or two the next ones are totally pas du sweat.

Check your phone and make sure you don’t have apple care. If you do it’s pretty much free.
