Default bow sighting question

Im a new archer trying to sight my carbon element. Im deadly accurate at 20 yards. but when I move back to 30 yards my arrows are high. (with my 30 yard pin being as close to the 20 yard pin as possible) when i shoot at 30 yards on my 20 yard pin im level with my target. is this common? just wondering if the bow shoots as straight at 30 yards as it would at 20. I dont have a problem shooting tight groups less than 30 yards on one pin, it just doesnt seem right. thanks

There could be a couple of things happening.

First off make sure to keep the front sight centered in the peep when shooting. Otherwise you will tend to raise the bow slightly causing this confusion.
There should be a difference in the pins between 20 and 30 yds.

But not as much as you might think. Light arrows and fast bows has lessened the difference between the yardages. And you probably will not see msuch difference between 10-20-30 yds.

That is why a lot of people shooting the newer faster bows will go with one pin for these ranges. And so they set their bow with the following pins:
10-20-30
40
50
etc...

Just make sure you know where the bow shoots for the first pin at the different ranges, as in how high and how low they shoot as 10 and 30.
