Is there a link? Need to sleep well tonight and a good truthful laugh would be good.

Well if that was true, you'd think one of the two refs on the ice would have called a penalty. He wasn't "run" he was hit. And the refs sure don't favor Calgary in this league.

Kassian was hit numerous times by Tkachuk that game, all clean hard hits. At one point does it become just a "keep your head up son" scenario? You'd think he's been in the league long enough to figure that out. Apparently a slow learner.

2.5 lines of the Oilers wouldn’t be in the league if they lost a couple teams. Draisaitl can’t center his own line and is only an elite player when he is with Mcdavid. Mcdavid is some sort of cure all and manages to hide a whole lot of problems with the Oilers. If he gets Hurt they are actually a worse team then they were 12 years ago when the rebuild began.

I agree. Lucic had a decent game.

Mcdavid yelled at Kassian to keep his head up after the first big clean hit.

He skated into him backwards, and made no head contact. Is having your head down someone else's problem? First you reference old school justice and wish it was still around but complain about a hit they would deemed as soft in that same old school period... which is it

It's both ways, it's an oilers fan you're asking that question to after all.

Doin pretty darn well for having 2.5 lines that wouldnt be in the league. And Draisaitl's line got 2 goals tonight. And has been playing well for the last 4 or 5 games.

They are doing well because Mcdavid has 71 points with Draisaitl having 70 points. You also had an amazing start to the season, phenomenal even. My prediction is Oilers finish 10th in the West. Mcdavid can’t carry the team for 82 games.

You do realize that Dri has 8 points in the last 5 games on his own line and is second in the league to McDavid by one point. He also scored 50 goals last year was that a fluke too ?

It's amusing that you seem to think it's dirty cause a guy has his head down.

Never complained about the hit. Just said what I saw. I’m fine with it dirty or not. Chucky wants to throw that hit sure go for it but at least step up and answer for it. Chucky is way out of his league with Kas so maybe he shouldn’t he is your teams best player. So why didn’t anyone else step in and take on Kas ?

And if only one of those two suffers a long term injury, what do the playoff prospects look like then? God forbid they were to both get injured, who'd score then?

A lot of eggs in only a couple of baskets.

You could argue that Calgary's two best players (13 & 23)are having sub par seasons yet here they are in first place. Could you say the same for Edmonton if that were the case? Not a chance.

I did, it was hilarious. I liked the part when they asked him about McDavid and Draisaitl, went on about McDavid, how fast he is, etc. what did he say about Draisaitl, I didn't really notice him?

Didn’t we go over this the other night when you were wasted and then you crawled under that rock for a week ?

Got it my friend. That was a fun one to watch. I wish I was with you. These Oilers are going to drain you. If your off to Cowboys, can you film the Oiler fans fighting each other in front of Craps tables? Doubt you guys could beat what the Hab fans did..

You need to get new glasses.
Maybe hey, here let me check them while reading the standings. Calgary 1st Oilers 4th. Nope glasses are fine.

Wrong on both counts, you were wasted and got beat up pretty badly if I recall. Didn't crawl under a rock, didn't need to, with all the Calgary wins and all, I was given you time to heal

I mean really, did you miss getting schooled all week?

Isn't it time to crawl back to the oiler fan boy thread and complain about Flames fans on your thread?

I get that the Oilers lost, so some fans are looking for anything to feel better about, not necessarily you, but Chucky threw a legal hit, why in the world would he? So Frank sitting in his apartment on the North side feels better about it and thinks Chucky is more manly? That's a really, really dumb reason! I guarantee you that Chucky doesn't give one iota what Oiler fans think about him. Even the analysis on TSN were laughing at Kassian, a grown man having a temper tantrum and one could argue they lost the game because of it, again. He's even gotten under the skin so bad on some Oiler fans that some fans have legitimately said they don't want a 22 year old 77 point guy on their team.

Intended to injure? Funny how when Kassian blows Nathan McKinnon up you guys are gitty with excitement, but Tkachuck wrecks Kass and its intent to injure??

That was 1 on 1 (McKinnon), not dealing with one flame and then getting run by Turtle. Kinda cheap shots, but I already know you need new glasses so you would never see it for what it was.

No doubt it was strategic. He identified a weakness in their line up and targeted it, didn't pick his spots with a soft player. Drilled that player cleanly numerous times, as expected that player lost his "sheet" and well .... Chucky's comments above says the rest and says it best.
