Default How accurate are stocking reports?

Hey guys,

Just checked out the stocking reports for a certain pond we like to fish in the summer and it says it was stocked in May and will be again in June, however people are reporting not seeing any fish yet (you can spot fish here). I was looking to take my girlfriend fishing for the first time this weekend, however its a long drive if they're not accurate. Any input?

Cheers

Take your girlfriend to pine coulee resivour! She will catch many fish and have lots of fun. Which means she will be more likely to want to go again.

By the time the report gets on line most fish are fished out.

I am guessing the pond being referred to is Mt Lorette and yes it gets crushed in like two days and no fish are left. Unless you get there shortly after the reports you are not likely to find much left. Sibbald Meadows is close by and usually retains a lot of fish through the summer.

Lorette and grotto both get slammed and people show up and clear it out witin a few days to a week. It's disgraceful how many people don't follow the regs at those ponds but lets not go there lol.
I'm quite certain it's probably been stocked at least once and maybe twice already if its a rainbow trout fishery.
