Default Bow River Shuttles

Hey AO,

Seeing as bowrivershuttles.com is no longer operating, I found a guy named Scott with a couple posts on Kijiji offering $50 shuttles.

Has anyone on here hired him? Positive experience?

Never hired a shuttle before and basically just concerned about theft/damage.

Thanks!

Probably the best way to find a reliable shuttle is to check with the fly shops, they have to use them every day this time of year.

No harm in asking him for a couple of references and proof of a business license and liability insurance. You'll know if he's legit!

Not a lot of info on his kijiji ad! I see he offers his service in Fishcreek Park. Hopefully he has the proper permit to offer a business or service in a Provincial Park!!

Call Mel and talk to him. I think many folks give him a key to access the vehicle and work out an ongoing payment plan

I get Louise to shuttle (don't recall the name of her shuttle service) - she get's the job done. Any section of the Bow for 55$ flat rate. Seems to be the standard for pricing, unless you get 'guide rates'.

Kind of expensive if you ask me, and probably not worth it unless you drift further south of fish creek...
