Default Browns in the Shunda

Fished the shunda hard for a couple days last week. Never seen any browns are they still in there? Anyone caught any decent ones in the last couple years?

Last Sunday I fished the Shunda and Chambers Creek. In Chambers I caught a couple of tiny fish maybe 4 or 5 inches. I could not even believe they could get their mouth around the fly. They were so small I could not tell what they were. They had no visible spots or markings. Would they have been brown trout? I thought there were brook trout in those creeks.

Thanks.
