Default Homestead (Sibbald) Range Road Condition.

Was thinging of heading out to sight in 2 new to me rifles. What is the Road Conditon like. Is it plowed regularly?

I drove past the road last week. It wasn't plowed when I was there, but it appeared ok to drive. I drive a pickup though.

Mabye give it a few months til it washes out.

JK, I doubt that road gets plowed much, but haven't been there in a while. If you get out, let us know the conditions. tks.

I was out there last weekend. Road wasnt too bad but there was snow on it and the wind was really blowing. Saw 4 cars in the ditch along the way.

Hopefully it wont wash out this year with the new bridge.

It is plowed now all the way to the public range.

My Oldsmobile walked in on its own but since you have a Sub A Rue, you can always get a set of shoulder straps and pack it on your back the last mile or so. Can't weigh much more than the gun and rest you are going to shoot in.
