Default Well that's not good

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...4b4_story.html

Well this is probably not very good for the fur market. With China out of the picture of be willing to bet the competition at the auction takes a dive as well as prices.

Isn’t that more towards the import and selling for eating of wild animals not a fur pelt.
I sure hope it’s not for raw pelt import.

Ya no mention of fur, just animals. I'm more worried about the liberals and their guns laws they're announcing soon. Hopefully they get voted down.

What if all the Chinese fur buyers get quarantined and cannot enter Canada? We are doomed I tell ya.

Just kidding, we'll be fine.

Yup no sweat...

https://www.kopenhagenfur.com/en/new...ruary-auction/

The first sale is an important sale, people need the goods so they can get them not works so they can make critical deadlines. This is going to mess things up. Hopefully it’s a fast virus that runs its course and is very short lived.

Positive news today! It is now expected that wild fur will move freely into China.

Meanwhile horrible prices on Russian Sable... meaning dont expect much for your marten this season. Pretty much same story on everything except coyotes

Default marten

Marty, not good news on Russian Sable prices , which auction were the lower prices, fisher will obviously also follow marten prices down. Hard to get much positive news these days.

Looks to me like Sable Wild Raw averaged US$71.36 with 87% sold on 86401 offered.

"Sable is in good demand and sold well according to the current fur market prices.
The most active buyers were from Greece, Italy, Russia and Turkey."

Ahhh yes I remember when this was no big deal and now the fur sale is pushed back. wait till the sale happens and the prices are low because of all this virus stuff. I’d bet a lot of guys are wishing they sold to a buyer now lol
