Looking at the forecast, it will be 30 or higher all weekend, so I will not be attending, for the first time in many years. I just don't feel comfortable running a dog in that heat, especially the first hunt of the year.

I’ve always thought they especially in the late part of the season were the hardest game bird to hunt. Always flush way before you can get close.
