Exclamation Mallard Point Habitat Enhancement Project

i learned of this project last fall and was reminded about it yesterday at the FFE. i don't believe it has been posted in AO. many of us enjoy the Bow River fishery of today. please take a minute to read the info below from TUL and place your votes for this project. the mallard point side channel is located in fish creek park.

The Mallard Point side channel provided important spawning area for trout
but currently experiences little to no flow during critical times of the year.
The goal of this project is to restore flow into the side channel to enhance
spawning, rearing and overwintering habitat for all species.

-To vote for the Mallard Point Rehabilitation Project please visit the
Mallard Point Project page on Shell’s FuellingChange™ website,
http://goo.gl/bwyXO or by entering ‘FuellingChange Mallard Point’
in the search feature of your web browser.

-If you are voting for the first time you will be required to register.
Please select the login or register button located in the top right
corner of the webpage. If you have already registered please sign in
to vote.

-Upon completing the onsite registration an email will be sent to you
with a link that once selected activates your account.

-Once your account is activated you are provided with 10 votes.
Please use these votes for the Mallard Point Rehabilitation Project.

-You receive extra votes by registering Shell receipts in your voting
account. The amount spent at Shell doesn’t dictate the amount of
votes. Therefore buying a pack of gum gives the same number of
votes as $100 of gas.

-You can split your gas fill-up into different purchases. For example,
gas up your vehicle but purchase snacks and beverages separately.

-Please vote often. Mallard Point needs your support.
