Hi gramps. Are you meaning the frame or barrels or both? Encore ProHunters are definitely represented on the T/C site. After clicking the link posted above, I clicked on the image of the encore platforms and was in and clicked on all season platform- here you'll see the common configurations and land on this page...

If he's looking for value, I saw a Pro Encore Stainless in 300wm for sale in Cabela's on the used rack in the 600$ range. One of these days I wouldn't mind one, they have a good feeling when I shoulder one!

That particular rifle was in the Post Falls ID Cabela's. Past that I haven't seen very many of them. Barrels are around the 350$ mark for Stainless.

I mentioned it because outside of some of the restricted's and higher end rifles, the prices tend to be pretty close to the same in CAN$$ vs US$ from what I've seen of late..

Default Encore

I think some retailers are selling them in pieces now. You buy the receiver and then pick barrels, fore stocks to mount on them. I think they are listed as Pro Hunters now. I bought a TC Encore Prohunter in 2009 in 50 cal muzzle loader in Tisdale SK, paid $1025. Bought a 3006 barrel for that receiver a few years later and paid $400 for the barrel.
