Run for Parkinsons

Hi guys,

Tomorrow Parkinsons Alberta is holding an event called Step 'n Stride to raise money for Parkinsons.

My grandmother was recently diagnosed with parkinsons and at 87 she decided to take part in this event to help raise money and she is walking in the 3 km event.

She asked me to take part with her and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to because of a back issue I have been dealing with this week but today I was feeling a bit better so I just signed myself up for the 10 km run(might have been a stupid decision, find out tomorrow lol)!

I don't really expect any donations but if any of you feel like supporting such a cause myself, my grandmother and I am sure many others suffering from Parkinsons would appreciate it. If you do decide to make a donation you can do it via the link below or their home page.

My grandmother and mom finished their 3 km walks in 49 mins and I finished my 10k in just over an hr. Edmonton surpassed its 50k donation goal and donations still accepted until early October!
