Default Tree stand revaluations...

Considering the time of year and the amount of time we have to sit and think alone, has anyone had any revelations they want to share? Profound or funny.

If time is of the essence and time flies when having fun and timing is everything why do we try and kill time?

Sometimes I sits and thinks, and sometimes I just sits.

For me, sitting in the stand is time to clear my head and forget the worries of day to day life. Watch the birds, enjoy the sunrise/sunset and generally just relax.

Even before I get out of the truck it starts. Not to sound all corney, but everything else goes away when we're setting up. Then sitting around and just watching and listening to nature in action. It's totally therapeutic for me. Much better than therapy, actually.

Default Tree Stand revelation

Yeah, I found that I hated sitting and waiting for long periods of time, especially in the cold. That's why my stand has hung from the roof of my garage for years now. I like to hunt.

Totally therapeutic. See so many things and its so quiet. I hear then see mice in the grass even, then the chickadees and squirrels come for a visit. All good till I have to pee, then its a dilemma, hah.
