Default Best place in edmonton to buy a laptop?

Wife needs a new one and I have no idea where to start in the Edmonton area. She doesn't need anything to crazy as she mainly blogs, facebooks etc etc. Although she does like her photo programs to.

could anyone point me to a place that is good to deal with and has reasonable prices

thanks!

If it is a PC I would recoment Memory express. They have a south side location (34ave between gateway and Calgary trail) and a north end location (136ave and St. Albert Trail).

If it is a Mac you are looking for best bet will either be an Apple store or Westworld (I would proably lean towards the Westworld myself [103ave and 170St]).

Be sure to check out London Drugs, I would buy there before Staples.

Check out the futureshop opened box deals. I bought an amazing Samsung laptop for 1/4 price, week old and full warranty. They will deal.

This^^

As long as you talk to them, they can deal,
Be polite but not a push over,
and don't be afraid to talk to someone else there if you are not liking what you hear.
I have got a few good deals there, but patience helps.

www.memoryexpress.com

They have 2 edmonton locations and they offer really good deals on all computer components as well as laptops, software etc... I stopped taking staples and the others seriously in 2004 when I discovered memory express.

If it's just a basic machine she wants, just grab a 15" laptop from Futureshop.

Example: 15" Laptop 500GB HDD / 4GB RAM / Windows 8...$349
It'll do everything she'll need.

While Memory express is a great shop (I use them for everything) their cheapest laptop is $500 right now. They're better if you're wanting a high-end box. But for basic internet/photo use, any laptop will do.

The apple store. Got my first Mac 6 months ago and will never buy a laptop computer again. Windows has too many issues.

I ordered from NCIX out of Vancouver. Had my new laptop in 2 days. High end model, cheapest price in Canada.

I like to order mine directly from Dell. Takes a bit of time but you build it the way you want it and they bring it right to your door.

B Comm: Computers iin Edmonton.

They have a nice standard selection, and can customize your computer if you have special applications.

Prices are good.
