Default 2013 Hoyt charger

I have been looking at the Hoyt charger because it's cheaper than the Mathews chill or the vector 32, it seems like a a good entry level bow, at a very reasonable price.

thanks for your thoughts,

Very nice bow, especially for the price. I have not shot everything in its price range but I don't know how many would stack up to it...JMO

Similar design to the old alphamaxs which IMO was one of the best bows Hoyt's made. It would be a good buy. Same limbs as there top end bows, good strings. Just a more affordable riser to keep the cost.

Default Hoyt Charger

I think you should go for it, I am a Hoyt guy and I think at that price you are getting a lot of bow for the money. The strings on Hoyts are good and you don't need a rubber strip on your peep, mine have always stayed straight once set. Good luck on your choise. Cheers Roscoe

The spyder has longer axel to axel and dual cam and faster while the charger is 1 1/2 cam and 31 axel to axel

There is spyder 30 too, which is shorter. Most of the Hoyt's are hybrids so the basic design of a string, buss cable, and control cable which they call cam and a half is the same. The Charger does use a different designed cam from the spyder rkt, but same principles.
