Default Wainwright 2019 Lost & Found

Hey, guys. If anyone from the forum was hunting the Annex, and lost a right hand KUIU glove, let me know. I picked it up along Circle Route yesterday while I was patrolling.

Default Lost and Found

I wish it was only a glove I lost.

Somewhere in the Annex is my wedding ring that fell off while cleaning a deer.

My wife is not impressed.

Still feeling the after shocks.

I hope you at least brought a deer home to help sell that story.

Last year I got out of the truck to look at something and saw that my phone cord was hanging out of the door.
But the phone wasn't plugged into it anymore...
Called it, and someone answered.
Two guys saw it in the middle of a trail and picked it up.
Not run over, and still working fine.
I had all kinds of good luck at Wainwright last year.
Hopefully someone comes across that ring.

I can't wait to show my wife this post! I'm glad I'm not the only one to lose their ring there! -30 something day in the 1st season in 2000 I believe, (Married in September) and I field dressed a fork horn mule deer I had taken.
Washed my bloody hands off in the snow and hopped in the truck to warm my hands and the ring was gone! She seems to be over it now though so give it 19 or 20 more years and you'll be fine!

I lost my wedding ring last year and had to go get a metal detector. I avoided telling the wife where I was or what I was up to. By the time I hiked back to the spot the next day it had massive snow drifts with blowing wind close to -30.

I assumed the metal detector would find it in the snow easily but that wasnt the case. It took a bit of digging still in the vicinity before the metal detector found it.

About a week after my wedding, I had to leave home for a job. Stopped to fill up at a gas station and used the washroom. Not being used to wearing the wedding ring, I took it off and forgot it on the side of the sink. I have only realized I was missing something some 200 km after. Turned around, thinking of all the excuses in the world for losing it, only to ask for the washroom key at the gas station and find the ring where I left it.
A miracle in those parts of the world! Wifey keeps saying that was a sign.’?’

Go back with a metal detector, this happened to a friend of mine and we found it the following weekend.
