Has anybody made up a good hunting round yet for a savage 110 fcp. 300 win mag

Don't have a savage, but my .300 sako finnlight likes 69.0g IMR4831 and a 180TTSX with federal primers.

My rem 700 loves 190VLD's over 72g RL22

make sure with any of these loads shared you still start low and work up safe loads in others rifles might be dangerous in yours good luck.

If you're just starting to find a load, I'd go with 'whatever you can find' for powder and ' what you can get your hands on' for bullets.

For me, IMR4831 and 200gr Partitions

My chrono wouldn't work the day I tried to test this load . A huge storm ran though the range minutes after I tried testing it . I can say that it worked dead on with my leupold vx3 4.5-14X50 Boone & Crockett sighted in at 200yrds. This was a load that just worked for me right off the hopp. I also used Remington 9.5 magnum primers .

I am shooting 168 TTSX over H4350 and 215M primers.

It's an ongoing struggle. Look everywhere, all the time. Keep on it. Grab what powder you think you may need when you find it.

An accurate load for my Steyr 300 win mag has been 168 gr. Barnes Triple Shock using 77 gr. of RL22, 9.5 Rem primers and Norma brass
