Default Mountain lakes trip part 1

Well we got into Upper Kananaskis yesterday to beautiful weather that turned wet on and off throughout the day.
We caught only bull trout on small spinners and X raps no cuties or rainbows.
Today we are off to lower Kananaskis for part two…..
Gotta get more mountain lake fishing in the future cuz if the fish are not biting well the scenery is awesome!

Looks awesome. If I had to choose between bulls, cutthroat and rainbows, I'd take bulls myself.

Well lower Kananaskis was tuff on us, high wind gusts from all different direction and yup rain but we salvaged a trip out of it.

Now off for a nice supper!!!
My son’s paying cuz I caught the biggest fish

Some of my best fishing times and memories over my 50+ years of fishing were in RAIN SUITS and RUBBER BOOTS. LOL
Looks like a great outing on both lakes for sure.

Ya we layered up to as it was a bit cold between 8 and and 12 degrees if the sun poked out briefly.

Snow right at shore on the upper lake.
