Default Non resident waterfowl licensing

Hi all,

I was up from the states in fall of 2017 for a duck and goose hunting trip and when I purchased my license, it made me pick 5 or 6 consecutive days to hunt.

I am on the Alberta RELM page trying to purchase a license now, and I have gotten all the way to checkout and it has not asked me to pick a date range.

I did a quick Google search and couldn't seem to find any news articles or anything mentioning a change there. Did I miss something? Does anyone have any insight into this? I'm going to call the office tomorrow but figured I would check here tonight in case I just missed something obvious.

Thanks

Confirmed they have indeed done away with the 6-day waterfowl license.

I understand this forum is 99% locals so that's not particularly relevant to you.

However, one thing that you may want to note is that they have done away with separate waterfowl licenses and now that is just included with the game bird certificate. Have a great season!

You still need to buy your migratory license.
