Default New chicken gun

20 gauge

I already have enough .22's,.. and .410 shells are too expensive.

What do you think?

You can't go wrong with a 20g.

I have a few of them and a couple 28g single shots. Fantastic chicken guns.

I bought a youth model 870 express last year in 20g for my grouse gun.

Works really good. Nice and short and easy to handle.

I actually changed my mind today, got this instead,.. it will serve dual purpose in the fall, and during the spring/summer.

12 gauge

I think he is making a joke. If he was serious about a "grouse gun" he would stick to the .20ga.

I saw a little 410 single like in the first pic at the gun auction in RedDeer awhile back. Forget what it sold for. It would fit in my day pack when hunting big game and I could shoot birds with it when the opportunity arose.
