Shooting Chrony is great but I refuse to buy as Mandy the woman in control is a complete bitch.

She runs shooting Chrony..Ive had several bad experiences with her...most notably at this past shot show in Vegas. I went scurrying to the military section looking for the biggest bad ass gun I could find....This was not a customer relations issue it was business to business dealing I had with her.

Have an F1 Master Chrony. Works fine. Bought it direct from them, apparently from some mad woman, who treated me just fine. Arrived in a week and the price is hard to beat.

I like the shooting Chrony's as well. I've owned 5 of the Beta masters in the last couple of years but I seem to shoot more than my fair share of em will shooting for BC and I'm down to 2. Maybe that's why the call them Shooting Chrony...

think i have had my beta 12+ years now still goin strong ,,could use new set of ears and a face plate,,,,I saw one at the range other week or 2 ago looks like they have metallic paint jobs on them,,,
i think there is a function on there that tells u the amount of shots threw it..

20yrs after the fact I'm still using the same Shooting Chrony F1 (alpha) model.
The cardbord screens got decimated by archery shooters, and a few different screens have been built since.

I've re done the battery connector, and placed a piece of 3/8" plexy glass over the display.

Still keeps telling me numbers I believe.

I have been using a basic Alpha Shooting Chrony for 8 years now. Its a great product.
I think they are about $150 @ Wholesale Sports.

Gives numbered shot velocities
Velocity stays on display until you shoot again
Stereo Jack for optional Remote Control or Printer
ONE String, from 2 to 32 shot memory (Numbered)
Measures High, Low and Average Velocities, Extreme Spread and Standard Deviations.
Retrieval of individual shot velocity measurements
Delete individual shots from memory (with automatic adjustment of Statistics)

I'm another user of the Shooting Chrony... for my purposes it works great. The only time it's ever given me grief is when I've tried using it in the winter when the sun is low on the horizon. It didn't always give a reading in poor light.

Depends on what features you want. For the basic stuff the Shooting Chrony will do the trick. Most of the ones I've seen have been a bit finnicky when it comes to lighting though.

Personally I went with a CED Millenium M2 chronograph. They're a bit more money than a Shooting Chrony ($200 USD) but you get what you pay for.
