Just great, Canada Goose now willing to pay over $1000 for your recycle parka. Not willing to pay much over $30 for fresh coyote pelt to help control coyote population for ranchers/farmers. Just think how we trappers supported this corporation in past when they needed coyote pelts. We should ask them to take "Canada" out of their name.
My opinion is that Canada Goose has no interest in what trappers think, contribute or what they do with their lives.
Did they ever sponsor or contribute toward the trapping community ?
Canada Goose has sided with the anti-fur groups.
They've continued with big price tags on their products even though it's made with cheap synthetics putting more $ in their own pocket.
Canada Goose products with synthetic fur are now inferior in quality, showmanship and have no value to persons seeking a traditional style.
The average consumer of canada goose coats had no idea that it was actually real coyote fur. Obviously the company doesn't care about trappers. They'll do just fine with recycled or fake fur.
I'm sure I couldn't afford it, but I would love to wear a fur coat.
Make fur great again.
Just keep your nose in kijiji, there's cheap coats there to be had. I think my daughter has found three or four used coats all well under $100 each, her latest a pretty blue fox. She really likes being warm!
Or you could just go and take some skins to a reputable furrier and get one made. Ideally your skins are relatively matched.
