Default Winchester SX3 Opinions

I've been looking at several shotguns and would like to hear any feedback/opinions on the Win SX3. I understand it has shims for adjusting LOP, which is usually my problem. Thx.

elnino,

I haven't shot the SX3 but if you need a shotgun where you can adjust the LOP you may want to have a look at the Extrema 2 without the KO. The adjustment range is fairly good. Do you usually need longer or shorter than a factory LOP?

I need a shorter LOP. I like the Beretta, but it is quite a bit more $$ than the SX3.....I suppose I could cut any stock down, but I'd rather not, if at all possible.

The SX 3 has shims for adjusting the stock drop,as well as spacers for adjusting the LOP.

One of the guys had a Sx3, but didn't like the amount of cleaning he had to do to keep it operating properly.
Since most of his hunting is upland, I convinced him to buy a 20 gauge O/U.
I don't think he has put a box of shells through the Winchester since.

The sx 3 uses essentially the same action as the Browning Silver, and the Browning Gold.Below are some reviews that you might find helpful.
