Default Condensed “energy logs” in a canvastent wood stove

Hey just curious if anyone has ran some of these fancy condensed wood shavings logs in their lightweight canvas tent wood stove? I know they apparently burn hot so I don’t want to wreck my stove -maybe just one log at a time?
Any input would be awesome
Thanks

I burn the Canawick bricks from Canadian Tire in my cylinder stove in my ice shack. I start one with some cedar kindling and after letting it burn about 10 minutes I close the damper and can get 7-8 hours from one brick.

I've used them in the wall tent on a couple occasions but generally burn standing deadwood at hunting camp.

I don't know if they burn hotter than firewood or not, maybe if you leave the damper wide open...

I use Duraflame logs in my wood stove / canvas tent setup.

The stove is totally fine, if you're worried put an inch of sand in the bottom.

These kick out ALOT of heat. This past season I threw one on around 11pm as we were going to bed. Around 12:30am we were all up and standing outside with the door open to get rid of some heat. Damper work is key.

Enjoy.

Always a good idea, saves on the stove.

Just curious, which brand of log did you use and how long did they burn? Also what kind of stove were you using?

Jpholic
It’s an old uncle josh - I’d guess 14inch by 10? Not sure - can check later if you want
The logs were Facto and I threw 3/4 of one in before falling asleep at about 930 (not sure of the exact time had had some beverages) and the stove was out when I woke up to take a leak at 415 but had some heat left so can’t really say a definitive hour mark but i’d say with a full log it’’d get through the night... we’ll see next trip
