New Bowhunter Looking To Learn

Hey Everyone,

I live in Edmonton and I'm wanting to start hunting this fall. I've been practicing with my bow every day, reading and watching just about everything I can find on bow hunting. I have made a commitment to go with Samuel Laforce for an elk hunt this September (2016) and want to learn as much as possible from those who have experience.
Is there anyone interested in mentoring a 40 year old rookie bow hunter? I'd be interested in tagging along for hunts, helping with carrying gear, pack outs and whatever else would be necessary.
My field craft is rusty, it's been a long time since I got out of the army, but my fitness is high and I'm eager to learn.
