Default A request for the AO grandpas......

Can you squeeze together a little more at the table? I’m in need of a spot.
My son and his bride have blessed us with our first grandchild. A healthy little girl named Everley! A salute to all grandparents tonight.

Congratulations on what I hope is the first of many for you!
I have eight grandchildren. We have far surpassed an extra seat at the table, to adding an extra table.'
The little ones certainly make family gatherings exciting, and a WHOLE lot noiser!!

I only have two Grandchildren.

I had forgotten the energy and intensity of children - hard to keep up, and then they run out of steam.

Being a Grampa is so rewarding. So much different than having your own kids.
Fun times ahead for you all.
Be well, be thankful and congrats!

We have 7 grandchildren and #8 is due early next month.
I don't mind bunking with grandma, cause she's still a great lady after all these years!
Enjoy

My parenting advice that I give young couples, sell your kids before they turn 12. Because after that they aren’t cute anymore and nobody will buy them. Failing that, don’t kill your teenagers as eventually you will get grandkids. Have 5 myself and the enjoyment has been incredible.

Our congrats to you too.

Our # 8 will also be here in a few weeks; currently we have 4 grandsons and 3 granddaughters Love 'em all.

Our currently youngest granddaughter is just 3 1/2 and is so comical. we have her over quite often as we provide child care while her Mom and Dad are at work, and she calls our place 'Grandpa daycare'

Congratulations to the happy families.

I am going to pass on a very nice sentiment that was told to me 7 1/2 years ago on this site. I never forgot, never will.

There is just nothing better than a tiny little face coming up to you and saying

'dood moning gumpa'

YaHoo!!! A hearty handshake and big congratulations to you. I hope Mama and baby are doing good. Be sure to smoke a cigar with your son for me.

Hope you realize you will have to start growing your beard now so your granddaughter has something to pull in a couple months. Pulling your beard will strengthen her grip so she can pull the trigger when she goes moose hunting with you.

Kids are precious. When your kids are having kids it is even more precious.

I have one grandaughter, 6. My only grandkid so far.
It was a real good feeling the day she was born, and even better now.

Like the others said - Congratulations!
